Initially Britain and France were to co-design/build an aircraft carrier but the deal was scrapped because they couldn't agree on a propulsion system. Now France has the nuclear powered de Gaulle with a catapult and the Brits have a diesel powered ski jumper. Bad call, and a waste of money, IMO. Release the hounds!
