Trump wants IT industry and Consumers to bare a "little" pain

After telling US farmers that hurting is good, Trump is now telling the Tech industry to suffer as well. Currently Tech stock are down and Apple is in panic. 41% of Apple sales is in China and they think China may pick on them to retaliate. Should China ban Apple, some 30,000 Americans will be subjected to layoff, not to mention the ripple effect on other supporting industries.

Chinese telecom giant ZTE is reacting to penalties handed down from the US Commerce Department. In addition to fines that could exceed 1.2 billion US dollars, ZTE is fighting for its financial future after getting hit with a seven-year ban on buying vital components from US companies. ZTE says the harsh penalty will not only hurt the world's fourth largest smartphone maker, but also harm many US companies that profit from sales to ZTE.
