Southend beach looks more like a landfill after busy Bank Holiday

A filmer captured the aftermath of last weekend's Bank Holiday, which left Southend beach in Essex, England, looking more like a landfill.

"Look at our lovely seafront tonight ... what's wrong with people," the filmer Sam Taylor said. "It looks like a field at the end of a festival. It's absolutely disgusting."

"I feel for the street cleaning team," she added. "They were hard at work as I ran home. I hope they get it cleared before the tide comes back in."
