Tel Aviv: Iranian forces fire 20 rockets at Israel

The Syrian military says its air defense system has intercepted Israeli missiles west of the capital Damascus.

This comes after the Israeli army accused QUOTE-Iranian forces of firing some 20 projectiles from Syrian soil at the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The Israeli army said some rockets were intercepted while others hit their targets. Earlier, Syrian media said Israeli troops shelled the city of Ba'ath in the southern province of Quneitra. No casualties have been reported from the two sides. Israel has regularly bombed Syria over the past years.
