Woman steals purse from grocery cart

Lincoln police said they are looking for a purse snatcher wearing a Penn State T-shirt.

She was caught on camera at Russ's IGA grocery store at 17th and Washington streets around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

The victim's husband was watching the cart but then stepped out for just a moment.

The thief swooped in and grabbed the purse and ran off, the video shows.

Police said the purse had $400 cash and other items, with a total loss of $530.{{file|t=C2I4T_1525971794}}
