Dashcam video shows a Green Bay man throwing stolen goods out of his van as he leads police on a chase. The man, identified as Timothy L. Andrews, was eventually arrested for suspicion of seventh offense OWI. Deputies say his actions put countless lives at risk. Lissa Lucas, a West Virginia Democrat running for the House of Delegates in the state's Seventh District, was ejected from the House floor on Friday after listing the contributions made to lawmakers by the gas and oil industry. The bill Ms. Lucas opposed, House Bill 4268, would allow oil and gas companies to drill on private land after obtaining the consent of 75 percent of affected landowners. Current law requires consent from all affected landowners--meaning a single person could stop drilling on private lands.
Police hope to identify a man who placed what appeared to be an explosive device at a business during an armed robbery. When a clerk comes to assist the man, he can be seen pulling a gun from his pants and demanding money. The man then places what appeared to be an explosive device on the counter. After receiving money, the man fled the store to a blue Toyota. The vehicle left the area eastbound. The Oklahoma City Police Department bomb squad was called to the business to clear the device. It was later found to be safe.
28-year-old Joseph Cooper filled with panic when his gas pedal got stuck on I-95. He called 911 when he was in Martin County, at mile marker 101 but didn't stop until he was at the northern tip of Indian River County, around mile marker 153. The first words to the 911 dispatcher, "I believe my gas pedal is stuck in my car and I'm on I-95." Cooper was barreling through the treasure coast at 100 miles per hour. Police video of a Jan. 22 fatal shooting in Millville shows the deceased man refusing to obey orders to halt and apparently holding an unidentified object in his hands that he points at police. Edward Gandy is seen standing in the empty parking lot of a business on the northwest corner Audio indicates at least two shots fired, but the firing is not visible on the video.
