The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) began their assault on East Ghouta this morning by storming the Al-Nashabiyah front, where they managed to bypass Jaysh Al-Islam's defenses and seize several points. SAA then was able to advance steadily towards the town of Hazrama and large hilltop of Tal Farzat, which overlooks much of this area, including Al-Nashabiyah. Some preliminary reports said that the Syrian Army has captured Al-Nashabiyah, Hazrama, Tal Farzat, and Al-Salihiyah.
