[Football] Gomez Named SAC Special Teams Player Of The Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Lyon College football sophomore kicker/punter Ignacio Gomez has been named as the Sooner Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Scots' 29-16 win on Homecoming this past Saturday against Oklahoma Panhandle State. This is the first time Gomez has earned the weekly honor this season. He was named as the Central States Football League Special Teams Player of the Week three times last season and the NAIA Special Teams Player of the Week once.
