The Morell Cup

The Morell cup is an annual event between Palmerstown GC and Naas GC. It is based on a Ryder cup

style format. 12 matches . Last year the event was won by Palmerstown at home and so they hold

Our 2019 Senior & Junior Scratch Cups will be held next Saturday 7th September and will once again be sponsored by Gerry Prendergast.Paly will be in 3 balls over 18 holes with cost for members €10 & Visitors €25.

Our 2019 Open Week is almost upon us and we have some fabulous competitions and prizes up for grabs. It all kicks off on Friday 2nd August and timesheets go live Friday 19th July for adult members and from Tuesday 23rd July for youth members and visitors. Our Annual vistit from Santa is scheduled for Sunday 16th December where he will hopefully be arriving by helicopter again.

The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held in the Clubhouse on Sunday 2nd
December 2018 at 4.30pm and the attendance of all members is requested.

The Annual matchplay finals will be held this Saturday 6th October followed that night by the presentation of prizes in the clubhouse at 8pm..

To celebrate the upcoming 2018 Ryder Cup we will be staging a 18 Hole Open Singles which will be played over Friday 28th & Saturday 29th September.

Huge congratulations to Jonathan Yates who has been chosen for the Irish team who will be aiming to win an unpreceded fifth Raymond Trophy in a row.

Our President Michael Moran will host ''his prize'' this weekend Sat 1st-Sunday 2nd September and we have reserved extra tee times on the Saturday to accomodate all the hard core GAA supporters who wish to watch the All Ireland on Sunday. We would like to wish Michael all the very best and also remind those of you lucky enough to be in the prizes that the presentation will be held on Sunday night.
