Wentz’s season is officially over.

Carson Wentz left the field with a left knee injury toward the end of the third quarter of Eagles vs. Rams. He was replaced by backup Nick Foles. On Monday, we learned that Wentz tore his ACL.

The Eagles placed him on injured reserve on Tuesday. His season is now officially over.

On Monday, Wentz posted a video to fans, saying it was a “rough, rough day” but promising he’d “come back stronger than ever.”

Berlin (AFP) – New coach Peter Stoeger led Borussia Dortmund to their first victory in 10 games on Tuesday, as his side picked up a hard-fought 2-0 win away to Mainz. It was victory at the first attempt for Stoeger, who replaced Peter Bosz as head coach of the struggling side on Sunday.
