The college football bowl season began with two weeks remaining in 2017, but the best day of games has been saved for 2018. Five bowl games highlight the New Year’s Day schedule, including the two College Football Playoff Semifinal contests. Since the games were scheduled in the beginning of December, the betting lines have seen some slight changes in the last few weeks. According to the updated odds at OddsShark, Alabama and Georgia are even bigger favorites to meet in the national championship game.

Renters in America spent a record amount of money on housing in 2017.

They paid $485.6 billion to landlords, about 1% more than they did in 2016, according to Zillow. This was the slowest pace in recent years because more renters transitioned into homeownership.

GLADWYNE, Pa. (AP) — A crash involving more than a dozen cars has closed down a stretch of a major highway in Pennsylvania. Authorities say the crash on the Schuylkill (SKOO'-kul) Expressway occurred just before 8 a.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes in Montgomery County. Several injuries were reported, but further details were not immediately available. Roughly 15 cars were involved in the crash, which forced the roadway to be shut down in both directions. This season, the Tigers are back in the College Football Playoff and they took the journey in their new $55 million football complex.
