Hans Kupelwieser - der österreichische Künstler wird 70

Salzburger Nachrichten

April) seinen 70. Geburtstag.

Cardiff City 0 Wolves 1: Nuno's pacesetters hold on as hosts waste two late penalties

FourFourTwo.com

Wolves edged closer to securing promotion to the Premier League after beating second-placed Cardiff City 1-0 in Wales, somehow holding on to all three points as the hosts wasted two late penalties. The first half was a nervy affair that Wolves just about shaded, as neither side looked eager to take risks in search of the victory. But things looked up in terms of entertainment right from the start of the second period, as Leo Bonatini – who has not scored since December – hit the post from a tight angle. Читать дальше...

US Raises Stakes with Tough Sanctions on Russian Oligarchs

Voice of America

The White House has announced sanctions against 38 Russian individuals and companies, saying the United States is standing up to ongoing "malign activity" by the Russian government against Western democracies and around the world. At Friday's White House briefing, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the U.S. still wants to work with Russia. "Again, what we would like to see is the totality of the Russian behavior change. We want to continue having conversations and work forward to building a better relationship," Sanders said. Huckabee Sanders 'Explains' Trump's Rape Comments

Crooks and Liars

We've been here before. Trump makes wild accusations completely based on - well, practically nothing - because he loves to rile up his base and impugn minorities. If he can throw in a side of misogyny and gaslighting, he's happy as a pig in shit. If he can force a woman to do it so he doesn't have to??? OMG, BONUS.

I’ve been ruined by Long Long Man, the greatest love story ever told by Japanese gum commercials

The Verge

As we all know, candy is an extremely important part of life. Chi-chan, the star of a series of commercials by Japanese gum company Sakeru that has utterly ravaged everything I thought I knew about life, believes this deeply. She and her boyfriend Tooru-san are huge fans of Sakeru Gummy, a line of “rippable” chewing gum that comes in both short and “looong” formats. The practical, down to earth Tooru-san prefers the smaller, more traditional size of gum. Unfortunately for him, however, Chi-chan’s... Читать дальше...
