Wuhan Zall contests intra-squad practice match

WUHAN, July 2 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Super League (CSL) outfit Wuhan Zall contested an intra-squad practice match on Thursday, while they continue to prepare for the coming CSL season on July 25.

For the first time in its history, Facebook is facing an organized boycott from advertisers set to begin July 1st. It’s not from small companies, either — large corporations including Hershey, Honda, and Verizon have stopped their spending. Several companies joined the initiative after July 1st, including Sony, which reportedly said July 2nd it would suspend ads on Facebook and Instagram through the end of the month.

Two men jailed for four years for violence, arson, at migrant camp riot

Two Egyptian migrants have been jailed for four years each for their involvement in last December's riots at Safi detention centre and complicity in arson which caused damages of €86,914.69. Guma Mohammed and Yousef Halef Abdel Hamid, who had initially claimed to be  Palestinian and Libyan respectively, were among 22 migrants who were arrested  during the disturbance shortly before Christmas.
