NADA elects new leadership

The National Automobile Dealers' Association (NADA) has appointed Brandon Cohen as its new national chairperson, with Thembinkosi Pantsi elected as the new national vice-chairperson.  Cohen, who works for a JSE-listed auto giant, is a legal and compliance expert.

Torbjorn Pedersen stepped off a Maersk container ship in the Danish port city of Aarhus, after visiting his 203rd country and final country -- the Maldives -- in late May. "I've been dreaming about coming back home and having it over with and done. So that's today. At the same time, I'm anxious about the future," Pedersen told AFP, describing the return as bittersweet. 2 arrested in Dutchess County, accused of selling fentanyl

Two people accused of selling fentanyl in Dutchess County were arrested following a reported spike in overdoses beginning the weekend of July 24, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Timothy Robinson (59, Poughkeepsie), and Shaje Wilcox (31, Poughkeepsie), each face multiple charges.
