Traditional Irish-bred horses fill podium in 5-year-old division at Rosanna

Steven Smith claims a second victory in the 6-year-old class and Traditional Irish-bred horses shine in the 5-year-olds Taking place in Rosanna, Ashford, Co Wicklow, the second leg of the Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) Eventing Studbook Series saw new combinations add their name to the league table and the dominance of traditionally bred Irish horses in the 5-year-old class. Northern Irish rider Steven Smith recorded his second victory in the 6-year-old division. Smith now holds first and second place in the overall series. Riding CLO Kann Surprise (ISH), who was the runner-up in the opening leg of the series at Clonmahon House. Smith jumped double clear to finish on his dressage score of 23.0.
