Over 8,000 fans welcome WNT home

Organised by Dublin City Council, the homecoming saw over 8,000 fans turn up to cheer on the players and staff of this history-making team following their performances at FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

The squad were taken aback by the level of support with the nation's busiest street full of Ireland flags, smiling faces and screaming girls. It was a truly heartwarming experience for the squad.

MC Dave Moore interviewed Manager Vera Pauw, captain Katie McCabe, goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan and defenders Louise Quinn and Niamh Fahey to thank the fans for their support.
