FOX Cancels ‘24: Legacy’ Due To Low Ratings But ‘24’ Franchise Will Continue

FOX has decided to cancel “24: Legacy” after one season due to its low ratings. However, this does not mean that the network will no longer be developing a new show in the “24” franchise.

According to TV Line, the keystone franchise is important to FOX so discussions for a new reboot are currently taking place. Producers Howard Gordon and Brian Grazer are in discussions to develop a new incarnation that is more anthological. However, none of the characters featured in “24: Legacy” will be involved.
