JUST IN: CCT chairman adjourns Saraki's trial indefinitely
- The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) chairman has adjourned indefinitely a final ruling on Bukola Saraki's trial
- Saraki is facing a 13 count charge of false declarations when he was the governor of Kwara state
Danladi Umar, the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) chairman, on Thursday, June 8, adjourned indefinitely a final ruling on Senate president, Bukola Saraki's no-case-submission.
Umar who apologised for delaying the court proceeding said he had an urgent matter he had to fix.
He said: "We have received all the submissions. Myself and my colleague will look at all the issues raised.
After which we will come back and give our ruling. We cannot pick a date now but as soon as we do, we will communicate it."

Earlier NAIJ.com reported that Saraki was accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of not declaring some of his assets at the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
Saraki whose case has been ongoing since September 22, 2015 had been charged to court with 13 counts of false declarations when he was the governor of Kwara state.
