Rising shipping costs set to lift the global food import bill to more than $1.3 trillion – UN agency

Despite balanced global food commodity markets, shipping costs and import volumes will lift worldwide import costs to over $1.3 trillion this year, according to the latest report from the United Nations agriculture agency.
