$1 million R2-D2 from original 'Star Wars' up for auction

An R2-D2 unit used in the original "Star Wars" films is expected to sell for something in between $1 million and $2 million during an auction in Calabasas, California from June 26-28.

The "Hollywood Auction" will be hosted by the Los Angeles auction house Profiles in History along with online bidding website Invaluable.com.

According to the item description on Invaluable.com, the R2-D2 "was assembled from original components spanning the original Star Wars trilogy and Episodes I & II."
