The plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Gillespie Field, said Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor. The aircraft glanced off the roof of a home, damaging tiles before striking two vehicles and crashing upside down into the driveway, Fire Chief Richard Mattick said.
