Apple Inc.'s new music service reached the ears of as many as 37.1 million smartphone owners in the United States during its first month, making the tech company's music app one of the top 15 smartphone apps in the nation, ComScore reported Thursday. The analytics company's audience-measurement tool looked at iOS and Android users in the U.S. and found that 24.1% accessed the core Apple music app in July, ranking it No. 14 even though the service isn't available on Google Inc.'s Android operating system yet.
