Civic authorities are taking action to prevent dengue fever after a sharp rise in the mosquito-borne disease. Press Trust of India says this year's total of nearly 1,260 cases in New Delhi is the highest in five years. Dengue can cause fever, severe joint pain and headaches. There is no treatment.
