ACE trains resume service after East Bay derailment

Altamont Corridor Express trains resumed service on Wednesday morning, two days after a train derailed in Niles Canyon east of Fremont, injuring 9 people. The trains were moving slowly though the corridor, where around 7:30 p.m. Monday, a large section of earth and trees heaved down a steep mountainside, covered the tracks and sent two of five cars off the rails.
