Lion’s body found in Amreli village well

A five-year-old lion was found dead in an open well in Raydi village of Khambha taluka in Amreli on Tuesday morning. Sources said, the incident came to light when a villager saw the lion's body floating in the well and informed the forest department in Tulshisyam range.

One peacock, four peahens found dead in Bhavnagar village

A peacock and four peahens were found dead at Avaniya village in Ghogha taluka of Bhavnagar on Tuesday morning. The village, 15km from Bhavnagar town has over 1,400 peacocks and peahens in the village. The dead birds were found at the farm of one Hardevsinh Gohil.
