The Italian boatbuilder Benetti has enlisted the Los Angeles–based automotive designer Henrik Fisker to craft a sporty 164-foot yacht series.

Fisker’s credits include the BMW Z8, Aston Martin’s DB9 and V8 Vantage, and his now-defunct namesake brand’s Karma hybrid.

The yacht will be built partly of carbon fiber and reclaimed wood (in the interior) and will be equipped with solar panels that are integrated into the exterior design.
