Effective June 1, the association will begin "aggressive enforcement" of landscaping standards that could include issuing fines, filing lawsuits, doing landscaping improvements or billing homeowners, the newspaper reported.

Blood-testing firm Theranos Inc. has confirmed it is under investigation by federal prosecutors and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. "The company continues to work closely with regulators and is cooperating fully with all investigations," a company spokeswoman said Monday. Other agencies that have opened probes against the company include the State Departments of Health in Pennsylvania and Arizona, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
