BARCELONA, Spain, April 22 (UPI) -- A woman in Spain was thanked by a local train station after finding and returning a bag containing more than €8,000 in cash.
The Kalamazoo Gazette and WXMI-TV report that $250,000 was donated anonymously to the Kalamazoo Promise free-tuition program for 10 students seeking teaching degrees at Western Michigan University. The money is in addition to tuition provided by the program and will cover room and board, books, transportation and other costs.
Gov. Terry McAuliffe's Friday action will make 206,000 felons eligible to vote. Republican critics are calling the move a political ploy designed to help Hillary Clinton win the swing state.
