Odds on NFL’s Patriots move with Brady’s return

When Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback, won his appeal against the NFL, which had ordered him suspended for the season’s first four games, it changed odds across the board.

The Patriots are now the AFC favorite (the AFC is one of the NFL’s two conferences) at +325 to win the AFC and return to the Super Bowl, according to William Hill, which runs 104 sports books in Nevada.

Brady had been suspended for allegedly being aware the Patriots were deflating footballs below what the rules allow and for destroying a cell phone with evidence of this knowledge, but the NFL’s action was overturned last Thursday, Sept. 3, by a federal judge.
