Lady Antebellum Pays Couple’s Mortgage for a Year
Seven-time Grammy-award winning group Lady Antebellum teamed up with national mortgage lender, Quicken Loans, to give seven lucky fans the experience of a lifetime.
Last year, Lady Antebellum launched their 7FOR7 project, where they surprised and fulfilled seven wishes for seven fans in seven days. The campaign was such a success, the band decided to do it again this year for another “lucky seven.”
Throughout Lady Antebellum’s 2015 Wheels Up tour, seven grand prize winners, in seven different cities, have been awarded free mortgage payments for a year.
Before their concert in Omaha, Lady Antebellum surprised two expecting parents. “They are a sweet couple from here in Omaha who have had a little bit of a hard time conceiving,” Hillary Scott noted. “But they actually have two babies — miracle babies that are coming in October!”
The couple were backstage at a press conference when the band bought them up on stage and presented the soon-to-be parents with a check to cover one year’s worth of house payments.
“Anyone that’s had to go through that knows, not only is it a strain on you physically and emotionally, but it’s very, very expensive,” said the grateful father-to-be, Bryan Vice. “It’s a giant relief — we can’t thank Lady A and Quicken Loans enough.”
Another lucky winner in Dallas got an extra bonus – a chance to sing with Lady A on stage.
Besides a free mortgage for a year, winners also received VIP passes to the show, a meet-and-greet with Lady A, an autographed album, and bedding from Lady A’s Heartland line.
Besides lucky ones in Dallas and Omaha, the super group has also awarded prizes to winners in Boston, Detroit, Atlanta, and Tampa.
