6.84L names deleted from TN voter rolls in a fortnight

In the backdrop o allegations from the opposi tion parties that the electora roll is rife with bogus names the Election Commission swung into action and deleted a whopping 6.84 lakh voters including 2.99 lakh dead voters from the roll.
