Bidhannagar gets new civic chief

The state administra tion and reforms department issued an order on Wednesday to bring in WBCS (exe) Alokesh Prasad Roy as the the new Bidhannagar Municipal Commissioner. This the first change in commissioner post since BMC's inception. Roy is an officer of joint secretary rank.
