Hard bargain drives wedge in Cong-CPM arrangement

Pradesh Congress leaders, who strongly argued for an alliance with the Left without waiting for a nod from the high command, won't settle for anything less than 90 seats, which is 22 more than the 68 seats that Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee had given the party in the 2011 assembly polls.
