Six ships carrying petrol, base oil and frozen fish arrived Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports and await the unloading. Besides the mentioned vessels 42 more with petroleum products, foodstuffs and other items are expected in the near future.

According to the “Shipping Position” document from Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the ships contain buck wheat, bulk salt, crude palm oil, bulk coal, general cargoes, vehicles, Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, containers, gypsum, petrol, kerosene, etc.

Currently, 19 other ships are at Lagos ports discharging general cargoes, including frozen fish, bulk salt, bulk rice, containers, bulk gas, aviation fuel, bulk charcoal and petrol.
