Africa Internet Group, Now Valued at $1.1 Billion, Wants to Be the Continent's Amazon

Africa Internet Group, the startup behind what has been called the Amazon.com of Africa, said it raised more than $327 million in its latest round of funding, with investors valuing the company at just over $1.1 billion.
