Railway board stops MRVC from using MUTP-II loan savings to buy 12-car rakes

The railway board has turned down a proposal by the Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) to buy an additional 153 coaches using the gains made due to the devaluation of the rupee in the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP-II) loan obtained from the World Bank.
