Accused in Maha Sadan scam dies of cancer

Bipin Sankhe, 52, the chief architect who was one of the 17 accused in the Maharashtra Sadan scam, died of brain cancer on Thursday. Sankhe, who studied architecture at the University of Mumbai and at the JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai, was a PWD chief architect.
