Bengal earns 'jungle raj' tag for Adi Ganga inaction

Kolkata: 'Jungle raj' prevails in the state, the eastern zone bench of National Green Tribunal (NGT) observed on Thursday after KMC submitted that it was awaiting World Bank funds to stop the flow of untreated sewage into Adi Ganga. The bench then ordered KMC to submit a detailed plan to stop such flow of sewage on the next date of hearing.
