UN envoy: Syria cease-fire is holding despite some fighting

A US-Russia-brokered cease-fire in Syria, now in its sixth day, is largely holding despite sporadic clashes in some cities and areas, a UN envoy said on Thursday, raising expectations ahead of next week's planned resumption of peace talks in Geneva.
