Even after death, individuals are entitled to privacy of their personal and medical histories, the B.C. Coroner’s Service said Tuesday, explaining why the public won’t learn whether the medical care given to a Fraser Valley teenager was appropriate. Coroner Timothy Wiles investigated a triple murder-suicide of a Fraser Valley family and used his legal authority and “latitude” to protect the medical history of Emily Janzen, 19, who was murdered in May by her father.
