Despite Osun state inability to pay the state workers, governor Rauf Aregbesola has added another burden to the state as he announced the creation of additional 31 new local council development areas, (LCDA), 3 area councils and 2 administrative offices to complement the existing 30 local government areas in the state.
Aregbesola has consistently blamed the administration of Goodluck Jonathan for his inability to pay workers salary. He said the then government failed to manage the proceeds of the oil boom properly.
