Toshiba to talk to Canon about medical-unit sale

TOKYO--Cash-strapped Toshiba Corp. said Wednesday it would enter exclusive talks with Canon Inc. to sell its medical-device unit, part of its effort to shore up its finances following an accounting scandal last year.
