Close calls in Banff backcountry trigger avalanche caution

Two close calls with avalanches in Banff National Park have prompted visitor safety specialists to urge caution in the days and weeks ahead.

Since Sunday, there have been two incidents reported to Parks Canada by skiers in the backcountry.
