Ostrich chases after cyclists in South Africa. The funniest thing you’ll see today!

The ostrich is the world’s largest bird. According to animal experts, while it doesn’t fly, it can run up to 43 miles an hour! So this lesson the two bicyclists aren’t soon to forget.

In a video making the rounds on the Internet after being posted on Facebook, a seemingly irate ostrich chases down two spandex clad cyclists as they make their way down a road.

Some may find such an experience terrifying but Oleksiy Mishchenko clearly thinks otherwise. The man laughs heartily off-camera as the bird runs after his friends.

He said: “The road through the national park is quite and a little deserted. Suddenly I heard a noise on my left and saw a big ostrich in the bush.”

He was following behind almost falling of his bike from laughter.

“Luckily it left us alone because we were about to run out of the road, at it is a dead end at the Cape of Good Hope,” Mishchenko says.
