The Pirates of the Caribbean star’s famous face appeared onscreen for seconds in the 12th episode of the current season, which aired in America on Sunday night. It wasn’t actually Depp, but a mocked-up likeness created by the show’s director and special effects guru Greg Nicotero. It appeared in a scene with two other severed heads chosen for their likeness to Hilltop Colony leader Gregory’s features.
