Water shut off at several Newark schools amid lead fears

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey's largest school district has shut off water fountains at 30 school buildings because of elevated levels of lead.

The state Environmental Protection Department says parents should have no concerns about their children's water and food consumption at school.
