India extends biggest-ever credit line worth $2 billion to Bangladesh

India signed a landmark agreement with Bangladesh extending $2 billion to the country in its biggest-ever overseas credit line, 5 years after it inked a credit pact worth $1 billion with its neighbour. The agreement was inked in line with PM Narendra Modi's announcement during his 2015 Dhaka visit.
