52 women donate hair for cancer patients

As many as 52 young women from across the city donated their hair to make wigs for cancer patients on Tuesday. The idea behind the initiative at Jaslok Hospital in Peddar Road was to strengthen the psychological condition of cancer patients, who often find it daunting to cope with the stress of a sudden appearance change.
