Mob thrashes woman caught snatching chain

A woman, who was caught trying to snatch a gold chain, was brutally thrashed by a group of men in Sukhesh village of Valsad district.

The woman, Asha Hatgale, was caught snatching the chain from 60-yer-old Parvati Patel at the weekly market. Sources said that enraged people caught hold of her, slapped, punched and kicked her and some men even ripped her sari in full public view.
