Dark Star Orchestra maintains communal Dead experience

Basing set lists on classic Dead shows, the seven-piece outfit not only offers a reverential dose of nostalgia but upholds its jam-band cred by putting its own spin on the well-worn material.

“For us it’s a chance to re-create some of the magic that was created for us over the years,” says rhythm guitarist and vocalist Rob Eaton.
